i've been using ScreenTool for 3 months w/o registration. finally purchased the 3/$20 package. was immediately rewarded by CitrusSoftware with 8 (eight) of the applications from their stable. i loaded ScreenTool, Clipz and ScreenMenu apps, verified their effectiveness, fired off a query to the developers, and in 7hrs got return email personally thanking me for my purchase with an assurance that the developers was Giving me the 5 extra apps....i'm impressed and grateful.
"Video" is misleading - Version: 2.0.3, 10/24/2005 07:51AM PST

To say that it captures "video" is somewhat misleading. It does capture whatever video is playing on your screen, but it only captures 1 frame per second (out of 25-30 fps), with no apparent way to adjust the frame rate. If this is a demo limitation, they should say so. Otherwise I have no reason to purchase simply for still-photo captures of the screen. Mac OS does that already.

perfect for taking and organizing screenshots. and extremely inexpensive, I suggest purchasing the 3-of-choice-deal package with this application, plus Screenmenu and Voicenotemenu (both can be found on VT), for only 20 bucks. For the next version I'd like to be able to see the Screenmenu screenshots in Screentool and vice versa.
