Product Description:

iSynCal is built to synchronize events and todo from iCal calendars between two or more Mac computers using the standard Apple File Sharing shipped with Mac OSX. You will no longer need to publish the calendars to be synchronized on an external Ftp or WebDav server nor a .Mac account.

You can also use iSynCal to synchronize some calendars with your iPod or between multiple users on the same Mac.

The iSynCal application is localized in Italian, French (thanks to Stefania and Giusy La Rosa), German (thanks to Eberhard Woentz) and Spanish (thanks to Alberto Canto).

What's new in this version:

  • iSynCal has now its own scheduler, thus it's now possible to schedule the synchronization of any MultiSync document
  • Fixed a bug which caused iSynCal to crash when trying to AutoMount some network volumes
  • Fixed a bug which caused the "Show pre-synchronization report" and "Alert on errors" options to be retrieved when opening a MultiSync document
  • Fixed a bug which prevented an alert dialog to appear when trying to run a MultiSync for more than one calendars pair in Demo mode

Operating System Requirements:

This product is designed to run on the following operating systems:

  • Mac OS X 10.3

Additional Requirements:

  • Mac OS X 10.2.3 or higher (including OS X 10.3 Panther)
  • iCal 1.5 or higher

When I could not sync using .mac, I tried isyncal & it work perfect so I used it for months. I have been waiting for 2 months for a leopard version. It give you a lot of control, works well, easy to use. The only way this could be better is if you could sync with google or yahoo calenders too.

iSynCal ReviewExactly what I need - exactly as advertised - Version: 6.0, 4/4/2008 01:35AM PST

I've been using this app for some versions now and it works exactly as advertised. I need to sync my calendars on two Macs and it does this without hassle and fuss.

Yes, so I've had to pay an upgrade fee once and yes, it is somewhat highly priced considering it's a one trick pony. And yes, it is not slick, shiny and pretty. BUT - you are entirely free to use .Mac.
However, If all you need is calendar syncing, this is cheap in comparison.

Plus. I've tried .Mac and I must say, I've had more trouble syncing and re-syncing and clearing up conflicts using that pricey service than I've ever had using iSynCal.
