Product Description:

Menu Master is a haxie that allows you to change or remove menu shortcut keys in any application with ease. It takes about 15 seconds to learn how to use Menu Master, and saves you lots of time later because you can use the shortcuts you defined and do not bother remembering which ones the developer of the software invented for you. Additionally, you can set shortcuts to any menu item that had no shortcuts, or remove shortcuts from menu items. Menu Master gives you a complete control over your menus, all just for affordable US $10.

Features:
  • Assign new shortcut keys to menu items in any application (switch languages quickly with new shortcuts, for example);
  • Redefine existing shortcut keys in the menu items to the ones you like and remember;
  • Remove unneeded shortcut keys (Cmd+Option+D anyone?);
  • Easy to configure as it comes in usual Preference Pane form, accessible through System Preferences.
And to save you from reading the manual, here's how you use Menu Master:
  • Pull down the menu you want to change;
  • Select the menu item you want to redefine shortcut for;
  • Press the new shortcut combination while keeping the menu item selected, or press Delete key to remove a shortcut;
  • That's it! Menu Master will now remember your change and automatically do it every time you start that application.
Note: Menu Accelerator is a 10.4+ only feature.

What's new in this version:

  • Addressed an issue that caused Adobe CS3 applications to crash in some cases. Oh, Adobe, why are you the bane of my existence?
  • Fixed... a... problem... that... cause... the... help... menu... in Illustrator CS2... to... open... every... time... windows changed... focus.

Operating System Requirements:

This product is designed to run on the following operating systems:

  • Mac OS X 10.5 Intel
  • Mac OS X 10.5 PPC
  • Mac OS X 10.4 Intel
  • Mac OS X 10.4 PPC

Additional Requirements:

Menu Master ReviewAbandonware: Unsanity Sucks! Zero Support! - Version: 1.4.3, 2/14/2009 10:15PM PST

MAC_1984
Unsanity has chosen to jump ship, and leave their loyal customer base screwed. DO NOT waste you money donating or buying a license as all you will be doing is throwing your money away. I deleted all my Unsanity haxies. Never again with Unsanity.

I've notified VT. The Unsanity site has the final version of 1.4.3 available. For those concerned it does NOT include the Silly Menu Animations feature. I personally will be hanging onto 1.4.3b4 for occasional silliness despite the bombing and readability problems.

silliness: great
readability of silly menus: bad
no silly adjustable slider (opacity, randomness, include your own): bad
no global off button for silliness: bad

so, let's see. three bads and one great?? hmmm, i call that a win FOR silliness. it's so refreshing and software expanding that it wins hands down.

all dev'ers should consider these types of enhancements. it's kinda why i went mac in '95. cooler.

keep ya'dome up, haxieboy. to be a leader, you gotta take heat. stay up! but do it right - a-duh, some peeps won't want it so a-drrr, put an off button!!!

*anyone got sites where i could get more animations for the menus? i'd love to load my own, even tho haxieboy has some great starts. thanks....
