Never endng crashes. Plus the graphics textures around shot people and on fixed artillary guns (The one's you set charges on) are not functioning correctly/corrupt.
Something of a major letdown after MOHAA.
AVOID!!!! 'til Aspyr bother to get it fixed.

don't try to flog a dead horse. it's the same old problems, crash and more crash. the game has been out years on the pc before mac users can play it. they try to get money from mac users selling a bug ridden game. this is NOT rewritten for the mac, it is a BAD port from the pc. they should have a map called crash city. totally not worth the money. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS COMPANY. mac users are second rate citizens to them. let them stick to the pc market - and die with them
Good game when it's not freezing my system

I like MoH as well as Spearhead but I also like to run it in a window so I can chat/etc. while I play. Luckily my HW seems to be adequate (brand new powerbook 15" 1.25ghz with mobility radeon 9600 I think) but when I am hosting a game, switch the window to the background and am doing something else right after a new level loads, the game will frequently freeze up the entire Mac! Plays the last half-second of sound repeatedly, need to force reboot. Very bad!
I still recommend it though, if you got the hardware. Very cool multiplayer experience!

Yes, this game requires a robust video card and CPU. I ran it on my 1.6 GHz G5 with a NVidia GeForceFX 5200, and it runs great. Gameplay is amazing, and so far I have very few complaints. I only wish the demo came with more levels, but I suppose that's the enticement to buy it.

This game is completely unplayable, even with a Radeon 9000 and 1.5 GB of RAM. At certain times the frame rate drops to about 5 fps and you get blown up EVERY time.
I want my money back.

I love this game and cannot get enough. But like most Aspyr games it doesn't always work right. During mulitplayer games, when we move to the next map the game just up and unexpectingly quits on me. I do appreciate that Aspyr makes these games and gets them out in a timely manner. The games, however, are never close to bug free. I have a 1.25 G4 with geforce TI and it runs smoothly. The graphics are often discolored with red and other weird shaeds but I bet that's due to the graphic card drivers. However, it has been this way for awhile and you'd hope that Aspyr would come out with an update. No luck there and I'm not holding my breath for one anytime soon. Still a great game and a good port.
Short and almost unplayable

Very happy with Medal of Honor, I was pleased to try Spearhead on my G4 733 superdrive on OS X 10.2.6 with 768 Mb RAM. I bought it as soon as it was available on AppleStore Switzerland.
What a disappoitment ! Even with a brand new ATI Radeon 9000 Pro, it's almost unplayable when trying to cover the truck in the middle of the second level (Bastogne). Nothing in comparison with the demo (and even Quake III Arena where I get 56 frames pro second).
The second shortcoming is... that's a short game with only 3 missions. Very quick to get at the end (once you've cheat a little to pass the panzers).
Even the first mission is unplayable at the highest difficulty level. The trouble seems to be in the Mac processor and not the graphic card : too many items to move together (rain, ennemies, friends, explosions...) and I've even tried to set the details to the lowest possible without any gain. It' jerky and jerky it remains. Impossible to aim in such conditions. I resign.
Would I be executed as a deserter !

I am now awaiting the next add-on and if it's this good, then I'll be very happy.
