LineIn ReviewGreat example of freeware - Version: 2.0.3, 10/19/2009 05:44AM PST

I was looking for a way to port my Xbox audio through my decent quality USB-based harmon/kardon Soundsticks, and LineIn is the perfect solution. Just launch LineIn, toggle my display to the Xbox input (I just have the single multiple-input display), and I'm ready to game.

I use the Mac's audio keys on the keyboard to control the volume. Running great on Mac OS X 10.5.8.

LineIn ReviewLineIn - Fix for Original Griffin iMic for OS X - Version: 2.0.3, 6/26/2009 10:55AM PST

This is AWESOME!!! I think the line in port can be a little misleading. I bought a $20 headset that said it was Mac compatible. Well the line in port does not provide power for the device so you have to have a USB Audio Adapter. Which you can find for about $20. So at this point just spend the money to get a headset with the USB Audio Adapter. Which I didn't want to do since I had an orginal iMic sitting around. Well guess what the iMic didn't work for what ever reason. The MacBook Pro sees it but neither the line in or out on the iMic work. UNTIL... I downloaded and installed LineIn!!! Thanks guys, this bit of software rocks!!!
