Product Description:
Wallet is a simple and easy to use password storage application. Whether you keep contacts, passwords, serial numbers, or credit cards within Wallet, Wallet stores them secure and organized in an elegant and easy to use environment. All database files are encrypted using 448-bit Blowfish encryption to make sure hackers or wandering eyes can't get a sneak peek at your data. Wallet combines security, ease of use, and elegance to a password storage application. Wallet can even "AutoFill" your internet sites in your favorite browser.
What's new in this version:
- Now a Universal Binary (runs on both PowerPC and Intel-based Macs)
- Export/Import integration with .Mac
- Entries can now sport color labels
- New feature "Show Entry Information" lets you show and hide entry information in column view
- Wallet can now automatically lock itself when you put your Mac to sleep
- Major optimizations throughout the application
- Entries can now be quickly sorted alphabetically in column mode
- Redesigned group editor
- Two new localizations: French and Traditional Chinese
- Four new icons available for groups
- Password Generator can now include lowercase letters in passwords
- Failed attempts to log into Quick-Lock mode are now conveniently logged
- Users may now start typing in the entries list and Wallet will attempt to select the correct entry
- You can now type in your password directly in Lock view (no additional dialog)
- When adding or removing a heading in a group, data in that group is now properly shifted
- Dragging and dropping has been visually improved
- Wallet can now import/export complete unencrypted databases
- Wallet will now automatically enable a "QuickPick" for Backup 3 if it is installed
- Keyboard shortcuts are no longer shown in contextual menus
- Main window panes no longer resize with the window
- Wallet now remembers positions of each invidual pane
- You can now double click an entry in column mode to open it in a new window
- Reorganized security preference pane
- Wallet now recognizes what type of iPod you use with Wallet
- You can now use the shortcut CMD-L to edit any entry within Wallet
- The AutoFill button now only appears once a compatible entry is selected
- Entries now automatically update while you type
- Fixed bug where there wouldn't be a default selected Preferences pane in a non-English language
- Fixed bug which wouldn't allow drag re-ordering of groups
- Fixed bug where you couldn't AutoFill to a file:/// URL
- Fixed bug where opening the About window twice would re-center it
- Fixed bug where you could move the action buttons position by continuously setting new passwords
- Fixed bug where connecting an iPod twice would result in multiple iPods in the source list
- Fixed bug where Wallet would crash if you rapidly set new passwords
- Many other small tweaks and fixes

version 2.7.1 is working, update to 2.7.2 freezes and hangs up my computer completely.
update from 2.7.1 to version 3.0 or 3.0.2 is okay, but....
import of my old database is impossible. password will not be recognized, the programm says password is not valid. i had same problems with update from v1 to v2 in the past.
only way: retype all content in v3. that is inacceptable for me.
that is my last update, this software is completely garbage.

For some reason the iPhone component is not available in the iTunes Australia store (!?). Emailed developer, but as others have mentioned, never received a reply at all. Pity = the soft is good but with no developer sipport, well.....
The only thing that could be better is if I could make it so that clicking an IP address would not open a browser. I want to click on an IP to copy it so I can paste in the various apps I use (like MySQL database management tools or RDP apps).
Love this. I use it multiple times every day.
BTW I own 1Password too, which is nice, but WAY too complex for my needs, and the way it messes with the browsers and OS kinda turned me off.
