I'm a professional sound designer and composer, and have been using Audio Finder for a while now. It's incredible. The interface is clean and easy to use, and the documentation (despite the developer's self-effacing comments to the contrary) is clear and well written. The features are deep and rich - and they WORK. Unbeatable for the price. The ability to preview sounds in the finder alone is worth the price.

In addition, the developer is responsive, and the license is very generous.

I can't recommend this app more highly.

There are enough rave reviews here including my own, but here's an example of the responsiveness of this developer: I posted a bug report on the forum a few nights ago at 9:39PM. Less than 3 hours later the developer responded with an explanation and a promise of an addition to the preferences to deal with my issue. 3-1/2 hours after that, at 4:00 AM, a new version was made available with the change I requested. Wow.

Nothing comes close for auditioning and sorting the thousands of samples we have on our computers these days. Absolutely indispensible, regularly updated, and well worth the shareware fee.
