8.02 works on Leopard and Intel Mac (for me, at least)

Although there hasn't been a new release in a while,
and the supported OS and platform is listed as 10.4 PPC,
I've been using AlphaX on Leopard on an Intel Mac, and it seems fine.
I mostly just use it for LaTeX, but all the code rests on the same Tcl layer,
so I'm guessing that if some parts of it work fine, then the rest should be fine too.

8.0.2 crashes constantly for me!

...when closing windows, or putting the app in the background, or just when it feels like it. I've been using Alpha for years and years, I'm a reluctantly devoted fan (OS X versions have never really felt up to snuff, but it's better enough than the competition that I've never switched to something else) Guess it's time to back out to an older version--fortunately, they're still available...
Seems to be updated to conform better to OS X standards, with new preferences etc.
