Product Description:

This little AppleScript is a one-dialog affair to make your screensaver your desktop picture (foreground or background). Just double-click on the icon and make your selection. That's it. The user can subsequently revert back to their static desktop picture using the same script. If you're looking for speed, then you'll like this script.

What's new in this version:

New, enhanced dialog box to make your selection. You can now launch your screensaver as a desktop foreground effect. You can now open your Screen Effects Preferences from the script. Significant code enhancements. New title (hey, we're a bit dyslexic)

it kills Expose. Even after exiting the program, "F9" no longer brings up the Expose action - a restart is required to restore Expose.

No need to log out and log back in. Just launch the app and click stop for each instance of the ScreenSaver. For example, if you launched 3 screen savers, meaning you opened the application 3 times and each time you launched a Screen Effect, you would launch ScreenSaver as Desktop 3 times and choose "Stop" each time. Please note this is not a BUG. Some people like the fact you can have multiple effects, although it is very CPU intensive. Some use it as a really basic performance test. I have not updated ScreenSaver as Desktop because I have not heard of any complaints or BUGS. Thanks for the comments - Rick
