"Added a Photo Browser to make it easy to select images from your iPhoto library without opening iPhoto."
Should also be noted that the Media Browser accesses photos in Aperture 2 Libraries if you use that software in lieu of (or in conjunction with) iPhoto.
Yes!!! So good!

I'm giving a digital photo frame with an HD ratio (16:9) screen for Christmas, and I've been dreading resizing the photos for it using something like photoshop or even iPhoto, which would have taken a really long time unless I arbitrarily cropped them all exactly the same without regard to what I would be cutting away, which is of course rather important. (If I only get 234 vertical pixels, I want to make sure they're used well!) I was determined to find a simpler solution.
Well, it's taken me about 3 days of fairly intense searching and a few ill-fated attempts at using other offerings including Kodak's EasyShare software (which is awful, and anything but Easy), but I've finally found what I was looking for. I'm usually not one to rave, but have to say that I am VERY impressed. With such a simple, sleek interface and so many intuitive features (screen/window/selection capture, timed capture, configurable ratio and size settings, and most of all drag-and-drop output...why hasn't anyone ever thought of this before?!?) it may very well be the best $12 I spend this year. Oh, except for that time I bought my girlfriend flowers, but I digress...
The only problem I've found wasn't with the software at all, but with the yellow mug website, which keeps giving me errors about having an invalid or unsupported form of compression.
Bottom line: buy this program. It's well worth the small investment for such a gem.
