Apple helps me greatly with my Cast:Stream presentations. However I have started to have KeyWebX Crash under MacOS X10.3.3. Any one else having issues?

KeyWebX CommentaryGreat start! - Version: 1.1, 11/25/2003 12:10PM PST

I'm a big fan of this piece of shareware. It does need a bit of smoothing here and there. Some of the instructional text, error messages, and the manual needs a bit of attention, as the language is a bit rough and confusing at times. For more mainstream acceptance, a professional writer may want to clean up many of those spots, editing for clarity and length.

I echo the request for more control over the captioning process. Also would love this to exist as a plug-in to iPhoto, similar to BetterHTML Export.

But well done overall. Well worth the shareware fee.

This is an extremely well-done and reasonably priced app. It fills a gap that I have been looking for for some time. The possibility of audio file handling is great. The template editing capability is a snap, and it just works. I've been begging Apple to put this capability straight into Keynote, and well, here it is. One thing I would love: an option to input comments directly into KeyWebX, rather than being limited to iPhoto comments when iPhoto is my source.

KeyWebX ReviewEvery once in a while - Version: 1.0, 7/28/2003 11:37AM PST

. . . someone does it right. Ridiculously low price for a great piece of an amazingly useful software that can't be found anywhere else. If Michael adds audio and more into the new version (hurry, please), this would be my pick for any Shareware of the Year award.

The fact that he also answers his email right away if you have a concern - problem - question is just the icing on the cake.

much more than convert PDF images to JPEG. It can convert directly from a QT .mov file to JPEG's plus create thumbnails and html for wb presentation. That means the drop shadows lost in a PDF export are preserved and your entire presentation is web-ready. The export is small, good quality, and easy to transfer to a website. I have e-mailed the developer who assures me he is working on integrating slide timings and sound export into the program. It could also use a "quality" preference pane that would allow for larger, higher quality images. Most people won't want any larger files for web display, but some will have need of occasional high quality slides to accomodate photo backgrounds or color graphics. After spending about 40 hours trying to create a similar solution without web design knowledge or experience, I was delighted to find this app!
