Product Description:

With this program you are able to create many types of barcodes and print them on any of the Avery label templates provided. Next barcode types are available : UPC A, UPC E, EAN 13, EAN 8, ISBN, ISSN( all the above with 2 or 5 digit supplements), Postnet, FIM Codes, Horizontal bars , Code 128, Codabar, Code 39, and Interleaved 2 of 5, Code 11, Code 93, MSI. The Sequential Numbers dialog box allows you to define the sequence in which barcodes are printed. This feature is extremely useful in generating serial-number and inventory barcodes. You can print barcodes, or save them as image files in a number of image formats PICT, JPEF, TIFF and more. You can also save a sheet of barcoded labels as PDF file.

Note version 1.6.1 is NOT a free upgrade from earlier versions. I found this out the hard way when the serial number I purchased in January 2004 no longer worked. There was no mention of the $4.95 upgrade charge on their website -- I had to contact tech support to find this out after the fact! What a ridiculous way to find out, eh?

The hyphenation problem with ISBNs continues. Not all ISBNs are hyphenated the same. My ISBNs are in the form X-XXXXXXX-X-X and the program automatically does X-XXXXXX-XX-X. I'm sure this is just fine for some users, but you need an override that allows the user to change the hyphenation. i tried version 1.5.2 and didn't purchase because of this problem. I'll wait and see the next version before purchasing.
