Product Description:

KnowledgeMiner is a powerful, easy-to-use modeling and prediction tool designed to support the process of knowledge extraction from data on a highly automated level.

KnowledgeMiner is a revolutionary data mining, learning and modeling tool that uses self-organizing networks of active neurons (gmdh), self-organizing fuzzy rule induction and analog complexing. KnowledgeMiner's algorithms can be used for different data mining tasks like classification, modeling, time series forecasting, sequential patterns and clustering. Platinum version available with consulting time.

Built on the cybernetic principles of self-organization, KnowledgeMiner brings high-end modeling capabilities to your desktop. What's more, you do not need to be an expert in modeling because it will learn completely unknown relationships between outputs and inputs of any given system in an evolutionary way, by itself.

Presently used in finance, ecology, chemistry, biology, physics, stock trading, currrencies, ad sales, statistics, education, medicine, sociology, environmental science, geology, physiology, economy, health care, and many other fields. Please see the website at knowledgeminer.com for a more information and examples.

What's new in this version:

  • [new] Platinum edition now supports table dimensions of up to 30,000 rows and 30,000 columns;
  • [new] Built-in cost-sensitive modeling for both classification and regression models according to a given cost-benefit matrix and an accepted target uncertainty; this allows self-organization of predictive, cost-optimized models;
  • [new] Enhanced and extended AppleScript support for building models and their workflow integration;
  • [updated] Tutorial and documentation;
  • [updated] TransformModel version 1.0.10;
  • [updated] MS Excel model export tool v.1.1.2;

I've purchased this SW and the reg code does not function. The SW pops up a window stating that I need to request a new code because the registration methods have changed.

As of this moment, four emails (five, if I include the one that bounced due to an over-limit mailbox size), over the course of a week, to support, requesting a valid code, have gone unanswered.

Also, all support links on the site are formatted as text, not email links.

It looks quite useful but without the proper code and support it is not.

Bear this in mind when considering a purchase.

I'll revise my post if/when I receive support.

I'm sure this is a great program, but not for the casual user not aquainted to statistical knowledge. This is not the programs or programmers fault, but it looks like greek to me.
