Product Description:

A native Mac OS X application for electrical circuit simulation. MI-SUGAR wraps around the free simulation tools SPICE and Gnucap and acts as a user-friendly interface for editing circuits and viewing simulation results. You can create schematics, edit netlists, view graphs of the simulation results and export to MathML and Matlab files. Binaries of SPICE and Gnucap are included.

What's new in this version:

  • Exporting schematics to SVG.
  • Custom subcircuit shapes.
  • Clickable variants indicator.
  • Non-blocking, abortable circuit analysis.

MI-Sugar was a nice piece of software. I paid for it. I guess now I'll have to start using gschem. The bad part is that
it doesn't work under tiger. Something broke, and I suppose this means he won't be fixing it.

According to the developer's site, he's going back to Windows because Macs are "too expensive". I don't quite understand that part, with iBook G4's going for $999 these days, but such is life. Too bad, I was looking forward to trying this package out.
