Product Description:

Jump through your television directly into the cockpit of the Navy/Marine workhorse fighting machine-the F/A-18 Hornet. Now you can fly the most prolific carrier-based aircraft in the Coalition arsenal. Load up with precision guided munitions and bring the forces of freedom to bear on the Iraqi regime of terror. Fly above thousands of square miles of stunning satellite image-based terrain. Look through your canopy and see the same environment that Coalition fighter pilots navigated during Operation Iraqi Freedom.

I've always loved playing Graphsim's F/A-18 Hornet games, and this is no exception. And while I'm personally against the war in Iraq, it doesn't keep me from enjoying this game. If you guys want to go back and forth debating the real war, find a different place to do it please. This section is for reviewing this game, not the US's foreign policies.

It makes me angry to read the pdf instructions for upgrading and find that the instructions are WRONG! Holding the control key down and clicking on the icon does NOT give you the choice stated, "Show Package Contents". I am using Mac OSX 3.4 (Tiger). So, the upgrade doesn't work with the latest Mac OS. Terrible attention to detail on the part of the programmers.

No one will ever take this sim seriously until it has a "Deny blowing up civilians" sub game. Some sort of PacMan like operation where you avoid game elements representing members of the press, the public and common sense.

Some sort of "freedom counter" would also come in handy. It could gauge how much freedom was created by each bomb dropped and how much democracy was created by each barrel of oil shipped.
