Product Description:

Gentlemen, start your engines! Battle it out with all of today's top drivers as you race for the 2002 championship! Get behind the wheel of a 750 horsepower stock car and battle for the championship on real-life tracks. Get under the hood to fine-tune your car or just jump in and race against the best in Arcade Mode. Feel car vibrations, hear the roar of the engines, and sweat it out racing fender to fender at 180 miles per hour.

What's new in this version:

drafting now works correctly, at times, getting into proper drafting position would actually apply extra drag to your car.
at times, the game would penalize you for unsafe entry into the pits, seemingly at random. This is now corrected.
skid marks were not showing up during replays.
on dual CPU computers, the sound would degrade over time. Pausing the game would temporarily restore the sound. This has been fixed.
minor UI and memory tweaks.
a revised Read Me file is included.
a new version of Nascar Config is included, correcting some minor HID issues.

that the iMac is targeted for don't really know anything about the vid cards installed in those let alone the needs for high-end games. Many of those people get into gaming after they bought their iMacs, or the machine is a family machine where the person with the money chose the computer (the the person with the money doesn't know much about gaming). So telling someone they "shouldve known that it doesn't run new high-end games" isn't necessarily right.

with good fps on a Geforce 4MX card. And when Nascar 2002 came out for Mac, the slightly improved 2003 wasn't out yet for PC. And Chris, Geforce2MX cards are a bit too low-spec and you shouldve known that it doesn't run new high-end games. (I need to upgrade my card too)

They're nVidia's attempts to sell last generation's technology under the name of a GeForce 4. A GeForce 2 MX, don't complain, you bought a bad computer for gaming.
