Recent job assignments require that I interface with MS Access, and I had high hopes that FmPro Migrator--which claims that it will migrate Access files into FileMaker 7--would solve my dilemma. No such luck. I accomplished nothing, after several frustrating and wasted hours walking through the 'help' instructions. Maybe .com solution's developers might accomplish the task; I couldn't. FmPro Migrator doesn't live up to it's claims.

FMPro Migrator is unusuable on a Mac. First the help is unreadable unless a copy-paste in TextEdit for example; second one reads on that help the necessity to go through VirtualPC for translating a database. It seems taht the producer ignore the fact that an ODBC driver comes with FileMaker.

Tried the demo to go from FM 6 to FM 7. All I got was a bunch of text and blank icon files on my desktop. Some appeared and then disappeared when I clicked on them.

Nothing made sense, tried to follow steps, but could not get it to do anything remotely like I thought it would make a FM 7 file out of my FM 6 related DB files.

i know it was a demo, but what was it demoing? It certainly did not give me even a demo version of a FM 7 file with even a small amount of stuff moved over.
