I installed it on an Intel Mac. The first dialog box asked for a reg code. If you don't have one (you have not paid) then you click later and , and , and , nothing.

Reinstalled it twice, restarted, permissions. Nothing. You have to go to Activity Monitor to quit it as its running but does not show any windows.

Linked Applications Launcher ReviewRocks for heavy games, heavy internet user - Version: 1.9, 4/3/2005 03:38AM PST

Well if you think a second about your usage patterns, you will figure you launch mail before browsing, quit many needless apps before launching a 3d game etc.

This "invention" makes it automatic. After a while, if you aren't lazy, you will find yourself launching only 1-2 apps by hand.

This software (version 1.10) works simply and effectivley. For example, when I need my Windows Media Player to run videos more smoothly, I quickly turning off most or all of my applications with Linked Applications Launcher, and then when I'm finished I just as easily turn them all back on again. I trigger the process with a spare small application that I run in my Dock and use just as an off & on "trigger" to turn off and back on again the set of applications which always run when I startup my Mac. For more than 35 running applications it takes no more than 10 seconds to turn them all completely off, and pehaps 35 seconds to turn almost all of them back on. Also, the support provided by the developer of Linked Applications Launcher has been prompt, helpful and clear. I am hopeful that the developer will provide a meaningful discount for current registered users whenever any major upgrade is needed or offered.

Linked Applications Launcher ReviewWhy does this… - Version: 1.0, 3/5/2003 06:16AM PST

even need to be in the dock? I have no room left. This should be a Preference Pane. Why are developers ignoring that option? Ignorance? Ego? The dock is for things you need ready access to; this one should be a set-it-and-forget-it. Nice idea; poor implementation.

to launch Suitcase automatically when I launch Illustrator and it works well. I just wish there were an option to hide the launched application.
