C1 PRO has unlimited batch capability, multiple output files from each conversion, color editor, IPTC support, additional camera support and more. C1 PRO will take you from capture to final print within a few logical steps:

1. Apply appropriate color profile
2. Check focus (by means of the focus tool)

Pro Not at 4.0? - Version: 3.7.8, 2/4/2008 12:00AM PST

Strange, I've been using version 4 of the non-pro version, and I thought the pro version was also at 4. Version 4 is a major, major update that looks entirely different and runs great on Intel. If you're in the market for this, I'd wait for the 4 version since your purchase price includes a limited number of updates.

Capture One is a powerful professional application with a well earned reputation for quality. All the more reason to wonder why they have not yet developed a Universal Binary version for Intel Macs. Who wants to pay for an expensive upgrade than still only works in Rosetta? It is ceeding market share and mind share to programs like Aperture, Lightroom and Adobe Raw (in Photoshop CS3).

If you erase an image from Phase One, it doesn't go to the Mac's trash... it goes to Phase one trash folder (it is moved in fact). If you're not aware of this, you think you've lost the file... upsetting and scary !!! Besides, I like to keep my files where I want not where Phase one wants me to!!!
As for the rest, it actually is a great application.
