Has the problem with multi-session ISO/Joliet been solved in 3.6? HFS+ was OK in 3.5.2 but not these.

Disc-o CommentaryCannot burn multi-session CDs - Version: 3.5, 5/23/2005 02:35PM PST

AlanBarker
First of all you seem to need to save the session details - no problem with that. However when trying to re-open the .izx file the restore window just sits there forever, hence I am not able to add further files to a CD.

Has anyone out there managed to write a multi-session Joliet format CD? If so please tell me how you did it.

I'm using a Mac Mini with a Matshita Superdrive under 10.4.1.

This version crashes on launch (OS X 10.3.9). Is this because it needs Tiger?

Since 1984 I have many softwar products come and go for the Macs. This is one I would like to see stay around as long as we have Macs. This product is just simply great. Have two burners one USB and one SCSI, no problem, Laze E runs both with no problem and gives you a choice. Music CD's, no problem. Faster than toast also. Simply a great product. I look forward to future products from this same source.

Where is the unistaller option? At least, a listing of installed files would be useful... d:-(

Disc-o CommentaryWhy an installer? - Version: 0.4, 1/10/2004 06:14PM PST

(3 of 5 users found this comment useful)

FOR neXtSoft
Because Laze E uses custom frameworks, and in that if I do not use an installer it affects the performance of the app and could cause conflicts since I cannot control how every one else's custom frameworks load.
The size mentioned below should be obvious. How small can an app be with help files, images, code, custom frameworks yada yada yada. 4 megs today however, is nothing.

Disc-o ReviewWow, what a copy cat app ! - Version: 0.4, 1/10/2004 05:35PM PST

Wow what a copy cat app ! Not that I don't want another Mac developer to make reat apps but PLEASE write some GOOD and ORIGINAL stuff ! Yea right good artist copy great artist steal, but don't steal just by switching an ugly metal theme !

The interface and functionality is 99% similiar to the EnhancedDataBurn sample examples from the Developer Tools at /Developer/Examples/DiscRecording/ObjectiveC/EnhancedDataBurn and I'm 99% thinking the "Eraser" Example would erase most of the glitches the folks below are having.

O yea, why do you freaking need an Installer ?! How does he make a 4Mb thing is totally beyond me.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
EnhancedDataBurn

EnhancedDataBurn is a little application which show how to burn a more advanced data disc containing a complete virtual filesystem. The application presents a simple interface to create the virtual filesystem and panels to set the various options that DiscRecording provides for data burning.

This sample code demonstrates:
• Creation on a complete virtual filesystem.
• Setting which filesystems to generate
• How to include/exclude files from a particular filesystem independent of others.
• How to handle renaming of the files in each filesystem.
• How to set various file properties that override the file properties found on the source disk.

The outline table code itself is based on the DragNDropOutlineView sample code located in /Developer/Examples/AppKit/DragNDropOutlineView. Look there for more information on the details of implementing an NSOutlneTableView.
