Kernel panics, worthless customer support, horrendous site support, sparse updates, ad infinitum. We've wasted more time than it's worth, constantly troubleshooting our M-Audio audio interfaces, pci cards, etc along with their respective drivers. It's beyond ridiculous. I'm astonished any Mac users actually invest in M-Audio products anymore. Needless to say we've pulled all M-Audo products from our studio and wouldn't consider any of their products ever again, under any circumstances. The very least we could do was add our two cents to the site for others to consider with the rest of their buying advice.

There have been no updates since May of last year. Are these guys going to support their cards? My G4 MDD is working fine and I don't need an Intel Mac anytime soon, so should I throw the card out? Speakers are getting worse with card while headphones or cheap speakers using Mac are great.

One more reason to stop buying M-Audio Products - Version: 1.4.1, 1/22/2006 09:11AM PST

With the 10.4.4 update, the keyboard volume controls no longer work. System Prefs for Sound indicate the 7.1 does not have any volume controls. Could not find a way to configure.

This is the 2nd pile of junk M-Audio product I've purchased. It will be the last.
