With sofa you will use you favorite music player in a new way. From now, you can display cover art just like you want on the desktop, search for albums in a single click, select your best playlist without opening one iTunes browser, turn shuffle mode exactly when you decide.. ... and many more to come.

I've wanted to give this product a 4 star rate for some time now, but just now it startet to do some realy bad stuff; when it updates iTunes the song jumps to the next song and the song I was playing won't work anymore. So if you are scared if this programe some day will eat your music, stay away. But it worked for like 3 months so it helped me alot for a short while anyway...

Cedric Menard, the french author of this soft, has passed away on the 13th feb 2005. So I think there won't be any further development.
I regret this because Sofa is a very good app. Now, every new iTunes update may alter the stability of this soft. I use iTunes 6.0.4 on OS X 10.3.9 and Sofa quit unexpectedly with no apparent reason.
Otherwise, it is a very powerfull and fully customizable app.
