Romeo Troubleshooting ReportCompatability - Version: 0.9.3, 10/29/2006 03:13PM PST

I was told by a friend to download Romeo because I was looking for a solution to presenting keynotes without having to buy a pricey remote.

However, when I tried it, I connected fine, however it does not seem to like my Sony Ericsson W810i.

Romeo prompts me to go to 'Accessories' in the phone menu, however the only place I know of that allows me to use Bluetooth to control other devices is in Entertainment > Remote Control.

If anyone can shed any light on this problem it would be great.

My email is Mark@Houseofed.com

Romeo Troubleshooting ReportDoesn't get a bluetooth connection on my Intel-iMac - Version: 0.9.3, 5/11/2006 01:37AM PST

I tried this non-universal-binary on my Intel-iMac and OS X 10.4.6. Usually bluetooth connections are working great together with my Sony Ericsson phones (T630 and W810i), but NOT with Romeo. It only says, "no phone found".

I get also the error "No Document could be created". The log file shows: The Romeo Menu Plugin type doesn't map to any NSDocumentClass. Other forums show, that this error is around for some time. It seems, there is no development for romeo anymore. Mails to the author also kept unanswered. What about releasing this app as open source?

When I disable the dock icon and enable the one in menubar, I get this error message, "No Document could be created". If I click ok then the rest of the application works well. Is there anything I can do to avoid this.

I had serious trouble with my wireless network while using this app, and I could only get 50kbit/s from my 2mbit-network. It seems that the proximity-mode occupies all channels or something..
