This sounds like a great app. Unfortunately the download site has been unreachable for some time. Please fix so that I (and others) can enjoy this. Thanks

You did a fine job. It's exactly what you need if you have a lot of networking to do. Thanks a lot!

I have been needing a tftp server to send files to routers and switches etc. I knew OSX had tftp built in but I could never figure out how to get it working. (okay in reality I was too busy to futz around with it :-) This product is AWESOME!!! Very easy to use Mac interface that makes setting up the tftp server very simple. Thanks you so much for yet another great Mac product!
Has a couple of quirks, but extremely useful

I found this app invaluable on a recent Cisco project. It was the only tftp server product available that got around the 32MB limit from the original TFTP specification, This product happily uploaded a 44MB image onto four switches and saved my backside by allowing me to get the work done in time.
Thanks.
P.S. As another poster mentions, can you sort out the Stopped/Started icon thing?

Great - two minor points - Version: 2.4, 1/12/2004 07:06AM PST

1. It's a bit counter-intuitive to have to click a big red "stopped" icon to have to start the server running, and then to have to click the "running" icon to stop the server. The normal way this is done is the other way around - ie click on an "start" button (which indicates its purpose) to start the server , and then click on a "stop" button to stop it.
2. It needs to be made clearer that the full path to the folder can't have any spaces or special characters in it - until I worked this out I kept getting "invalid path" error messages which didn't help by explaining why the path was invalid - it looked fine to me until I worked out that it was spaces in the path name that was causing the problem. This is mentioned in the docs but not very prominently.
Despite the above I would still recommend the product - it works fine and has a very nice user interface.

Is it just me, or are others having trouble downloading this version?
- Now compatible with Snow Leopard
- The TFTP service is now started in secure mode (-s) to chroot tftpd to its working folder
- Tiger and Leopard used to set up the tftpd service in insecure mode (-i), so TftpServer fixes the tftpd configuration file to start the service in secure mode
- Removed the Console Log from the log section, it was no longer useful since Tiger
- More accurate checking of the tftpd status, now TftpServer checks if the service is actually running instead of just checking if it was set to launch on boot
