Product Description:

Formerly named Melbourne Temp, Degrees Down Under displays the current temperature for a range of locations around Australia, using data from the Australian Bureau of Meteorology website .

Features include:
- automatic updating of the temperature at specified intervals
- links to detailed observations on the Bureau's website
- temperature display in a window and the Dock
- display colour varies with temperature
- command access from Dock menu

What's new in this version:

- display of data from stations other than Melbourne
- redesigned main window
- new icon
- links to source data on Bureau of Meteorology website
- preference to stop main window opening when application starts
- selected commands in Dock menu
- access to Read Me from Help menu
- memory leak addressed

A Dashboard widget version of Degrees Down Under is now available for users of Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger. The widget's colour varies with the temperature, which can be displayed in Celsius or Fahrenheit.
