This awesome. Looks stunning and works great. I wasn't actually looking for a program like this but now that I've found it, it will never ever be removed. I just love it!
I only have one small problem: I don't see subtitle support anywhere. I personally don't ever use subs but some people like to have them so it would be a nice option.
I'll definitely pay the shareware fee for this one!

The poster feature is back! Slightly different interface for picking the poster. The program picks a few frames from the movie and lays them on the first row of image wells. The second row of image wells will fill up with any movie posters found on the internet. Everything else still works perfectly. Program is still top-notch and still rates 5-stars.
This is sweet!

I agree, this is iTunes for Movies. Looks great, and I love the movie cover downloads! Now I have to completely rethink the way I store movies! I will have to use it for a bit before I decide if it's worth $15. If it were $10, I would probably register without a second thought. -Ryan

Great product. Adrian from Mindjar contacted me this morning to let me know an update was available and the changes I requested were included into version 1.1.1. All yellow help tags now speak if the spoken user interface in Jaguar 10.2.x is enabled, including the close, minimize, and zoom buttons. The movie posters also speak the title. Its like iTunes for movies! Great app, great developer, well worth the price. Still rates 5-stars.

knows, there is no spyware in Movie Jukebox. When you add a movie and grab a movie poster it actually goes to imdb.com to find that movie thumb. That's all. We do take your privacy pretty seriously, as we take our own. Anyway we have added movie in a window as per request and we have many improvements and new features on the way. We would love to spend much more time on Movie Jukebox and get these new features quicker, so please support us if you can. I am pretty excited where we can go with this, and I would like to thank everybody for the kudos and great feedback.

keeper! It's very easy to use, has an attractive interface and a thorough Help center. I'm looking forward to seeing where the author takes this neat little app.

cruithne. This is an excellent start. Frankly, I'm surprised that Apple does not include such an app with OS X. That said, I have a few thoughts and suggestions. First, the UI. Um, no offense guys, but it's very Windows Media Player/Real One-esque. I'd prefer a more standard Aqua look. On a more functional note, I think the Play button is rather over-sized. So much screen space is wasted by the curved top of the jukebox window and play button. It just strikes me as overkill, especially on my 12.1" iBook screen. As far as features go, the ability to play movies at different scales, not just full-screen, would be very nice. Adding movies is also rather tedious. It would be great if Movie Jukebox would simply watch the user's /Movies folder (and any sub-directories) and automatically build a list of movies. Unfiled/uncategorized movies could appear in the bottom of the categoies list in an "Unfiled" category. This would be a lot easier than having to add each movie clip by hand. Great app, though! A four star start for sure!

I'm downloading now, looking forward to trying this out. $15 is a bit steep for my needs, but if it's free or $5, I'll probably use it.
