Product Description:

Bluebeard is a program which locates and downloads single- and multi-part file attachments on the Usenet forum network.
Currently, only Mac OS X (v10.2.3+ with Java 1.3.1) is supported.

Bluebeard is robust, able to handle between 1-4 simultaneous downloads and support however many queued downloads you want to throw at it. Bluebeard is able to piece together multi-part attachments and handle popular encoding formats, including UUE and yEnc; decoding is automatic and quick.

What's new in this version:

Group list download would quit in some cases, for some users. This has been fixed.
Downloads which fail due to errors/missing articles "disappeared" without showing an error in the download queue. They appear in the queue with error messages now.
Retrying group files list downloads left an item in the download queue. This is no longer true.

This is the best one out of all the ones I've tried (5 or 6). I just wish they would update it because there are some things that just don't work properly.

hasn't been updated for more than a year, doesn't work with 10.3.7 (won't fetch groups or articles etc)
I like the no-frills UI. I hope it gets updated

I'd really love to see this program be able to handle more than one usenet server, and be able to sync them.

My ISP currently has their USENET set up on 3 different servers, so if there's a file that I want it may actually be spread across 3 different servers and is a pain to try to download.
