Product Description:
Folder Text Labeler is a Shareware icon utility tool that can be used to composite text on top of Mac OS X Finder icons.
What's new in this version:
- Added background icon and foreground text rotational sliders.
- Added "Select Bg Icon..." button to select background icon.
- Added "Make Default" button to save current settings as default.
- Added audio feedback to "Copy to Clipboard" button.
- Minor code tweaks for improved performance.

I am looking for a quick way to add text to file icons. I have numerous docked radio and video feeds docked in dragthing. Being able to add text to the file icon would make it much easier to find the one I want

work for me (pasting icon to a folder), and the UI is A LOT quirky. It's near implssible to get the text moved to where I want, the "opacity" is only for the folder image, not the text, and the buttons... don't get me started on the buttons. You get two stars just for having what should be a good idea.

does what it says. UI is a little goofy. Definitely not worth $5. I also don't see the point of putting text on an icon -- that's what the file name is for. Better to put a cool picture in the icon, like an app logo or somesuch. So, let's see. 3 stars for works as advertised, but there's a bit of work to go before someone would want to use this.
