Frozen-Bubble ReviewNot quite finished... - Version: 1.0.0e, 1/18/2009 09:39PM PST

I love the game BUT it will not let you selelct your starting level like the original.
So, everytime I want to try and reach a level I have to restart at level 1 and go ALL the way.
The LINUX version lets you select your starting level.
In it's current form it is monotonous to play it more than once.
If you could fix this I would give it five stars!

Frozen-Bubble ReviewGood Game! - Version: 1.0.0e, 5/27/2005 07:27AM PST

I dont agree that the interface is difficult to read. Yes the letters are outlines, but it is obvious what is what. I have been looking for a game like this for awhile, like the old Bust-A-Move. I really enjoy this game. I know the Apple Q doesnt work for quit, but other than that this thing seems flawless. I like it allot and I play it allot. Great job, and thanks allot for the entertainment.

The opening screen for the applications has problems, namely the outline font used is extremely difficult to read! The GUI for a games "options" and controls should be easy to understand and read!

This needs to be fixed or re-thought.

played through the whole thing twice. i don't find it boring. i rather think, it's highly addictive! command-q doesn't but quitting it via the menu works for me.

The version currently linked to here on VT does not work on Panther, but the home page for the OS X version of Frozen-Bubble at <http://redivi.com/~bob/frozenbubble.html> has a release specifically for Panther. it works fine on my 10.3.2 system.

see if the game had been updated and fixed its problems. The reason it gets downgraded is some system level stuff, like not deleting temp files and the like. Cool game. Just a bit buggy on behind the scenes stuff. That's all. Still three stars. BTW, y'all are correct in pointing out the terrific potential of perl.

an aweful amount of processor, but it is a very fun game. If you could cut down on the processor usage a little, this would be much more fun.
