accomplish ALL of these functions, i.e. scaling percentages, decimal conversions, etc. They are, after all, merely mathematical equivalents. The ease of use of "converters" relieves of of the task of having to recall the actual functions and the sequences of the math equations. In which case, I would say that most converters are useful and that the programmers deserve our thanks for their effort.

a customer in Europe and get metric specs from them that you want to tweak... and SOMEwhere along the complicated production line (if you actually have more than one project like the real pros) you just get a little confused and want to quickly doublecheck yourself, this app might be appreciated under that sort of crunch. Try being open minded rather than openly a jackass- suggest improvements rather than chiding, it's called "constructive criticism." Try it, you might make more friends.

say that you are a little harsh and a bit of a dumbass! Because if you are in DTP like myself you should know that the applications you use do the conversions on the fly when you type in any value wether it be .pt .in .cm etc... so this app is not really needed but what I do recomend for OSX DTP is a low cpu and stable percentage wheel that give you X & Y values like the directors toolkit installed with 10.2 as for your little ruler! GET with the program most people don't even need those anymore! stop wasting time with useless comments OH! and BTW it does convert 5 20/32 into decimals & inches & mm, try typing in the appropriate field first!
