bs-16 CommentaryThe difference... - Version: 2.0, 3/13/2004 06:50PM PST

...as far as I can tell, is that the bs-1 and bs-16 play Soundfonts without having to convert them to a different format, as is the case with VSamp. This is a very valuable tool to have, but my past few efforts to try out bs-1 and bs-16 (some time ago) they tended to not show up at all as plug-ins. I recall one effort where I did actually get them to appear, but the hallmark of the demo was an extremely obnoxious human grunt of some kind emitted every so many seconds--something I guess the developer finds amusing. I found it eminently trashable.

bs-16 CommentaryWhat makes this better - Version: 2.0, 3/13/2004 07:29AM PST

Here I am!
than Vsamp? Vsamp's cheaper and can handle soundfonts - easy to rack up samples, supports a large variety...and is cheaper. This has a nice interface, but I recommend checking out the competition as well - considering the perfect score. I've received excellent support from Vsamp as well...not to say you won't get the same bs-16.
