I've used Tax Cut for 2 years as they were the first to provide native OS X support. But this year, it looks like I will asking for a refund and going else where. The tax tutorials on the CD will not play sound on either of my 10.3.2 Macs. Their tech support was useless. They have really dropped the ball with their Mac support.

used TaxCut 2002 Platinum for Mac this year ... waited too long and TurboTax was no longer in my local stores. Next year, I won't procrastinate on getting TurboTax. TaxCut requires install in a filesystem where there is a system folder. Then it required to be installed as a top-level folder in the filesystem. The update downloads always ended with an error. I resorted to manually ftp'ing the update files to ensure that they were good. The current Mac files were only on the alternate ftp site while the Win files were on both the primary & alternate sites. StuffIt Expander 7.0.1 failed to expand the update files. Had to use Expander 6.5.1 in order to expand the files correctly. Possibly a StuffIt problem and not a TaxCut problem. The updates all applied without error. Started to use the product. Import from previous year TurboTax went okay. Then began the very, very tedious task of updating and changing things needed for this year. At one point, the "background template" lost my first name and middle initial and the s/w refused to let me re-enter them. Somehow, during the error checking, it finally asked me if I wanted to override the background template ... no clue how I got it to do that. Then had a similar problem later on with addresses for the state forms. The walk-through to get the data entered was much less "user-friendly" than TurboTax. I actually managed to get to final error check w/o being asked to enter W2 info ... seems I'
