AWS Guitar Tuner Reviewdoes the trick - Version: 2.01, 4/1/2007 03:42AM PST

DL'ed it for my daughter to be able to tune her -violin- works just great for her and saved us quite alot of money for a digital tuning machine. I will also hang onto it to check my trombone. I wonder why this is billed as just being for a guitar, when you can hear any note on the keyboard?

Anyway - it does the trick for us.

AWS Guitar Tuner CommentaryFor those of us who like easy and simple... - Version: 2.01, 9/6/2006 05:02PM PST

The free SkalMac Tuner is a great, easy to use, intuative standard tuner.

This has far more non-standard tuning options, but for someone like me, who simply wants an easy way to tune their guitar I find it far more clunky and annoying to use.

But I'm not a professional musician, and I don't generally need non-standard tuning, so I won't rate this app. It might be a boon to the right person. But for many it will be overkill.

I loved this free app a year ago ..... the changes suck. You screwed up a great app just for the sake of changing something to be prettier?
