Character Converter CommentaryMulti-computer licence - Version: 1.2.4, 7/5/2005 08:46AM PST

I wrote to the developer, complaining that people who replace their old Mac cannot run the utility anymore because of the single machine licence. Seems fair to post the reply that I quickly got :
"If you purchase our software, we would be happy to provide you with
license keys for all of your computers. And if you upgrade, just let
us know."

Character Converter CommentaryBAH! Licensed for one CPU only. - Version: 1.2.3, 6/4/2005 10:27AM PST

BEWARE people, the license you purchase for this $10 program is only for one machine. I just upgraded my iBook and it no longer runs. I don't recall being told about this restriction when purchasing; I never buy programs that license for only one CPU.

Caveat emptor,...

I tried making my own using applescript, this does the trick perfectly, worth way more than 5$. Good job.
One thing, on the website it says Choose "Install Character Converter" from the application menu, but in fact look for "Update Services Menu".
