M-Audio Delta driver ReviewDon't buy M-Audio Cards - Version: 2.0.5, 1/6/2008 09:25AM PST

I never thought I'd have to say this, because I was once quite satisfied with my Delta 1010LT, up to version 2.0.3 (I guess) it all was okay, but since then the newer driver keep the Mac from going to deep sleep, that means, the driver kills the ability to set the mac to sleep! How ridiculous is that?!
The MIDI port randomly stops working (until restart), the Audio Signal sometimes gets distorted (until restart).

I also have an FW410 wich causes Kernel Panics; I guess it's the FW410 driver. However in almost every Kernel Panic log I see the name "M-Audio".

Both drivers aren't working under Leopard, now out since months!
I guess I'm going to sell my cards and buy something relyable. How sad that some companies don't get it. It can't be that hard to write a driver, can it?

M-Audio Delta driver ReviewStill no support for deep sleep - Version: 2.0.5, 5/3/2007 12:19PM PST

It's been two years since m-audio first released a version of their delta card driver that didn't support deep sleep, and the latest version still doesn't support it. Supposedly, they're working on it, but I'll believe it when I see it (and I'm not holding my breath here). And then there's the kernel panics. I'd have to recommend that people stay away from m-audio cards until they can get their driver situation sorted out.
