Product Description:

Fob is a free dock-based kitchen timer. It allows a user to specify multiple timers to count down for a specified interval. When an alarm runs out of time, Fob will make itself conspicuous. The presence of presets is Fob's main gimmick for decreasing the effort required to start an alarm. To draw an analogy to web browsers, they are a kind of time bookmark for commonly used alarms.

What's new in this version:

One may start alarms from a text description (e.g. "5 m" for 5 minutes). Alarms may be set to repeat indefinitely. Various small interface enhancements, especially in the dock menu. Fixed a small non-critical bug.

I use this time primarily to time my children in certain activities. If I am sitting at my computer and my children are supposed to finish a task within a certain period of time, FOB enables me to keep track of the time limit. Very easy and intuitive.

You can make the app window disappear without minimizing it, by going to the menu under Fob and selecting "Hide Fob".
