Product Description:

As of Mac OS X 10.3, Apple's AddressBook can't print envelopes. moEnvelopes tries to fill that gap.

Note: In Mac OS 1.4 (Tiger) AddressBook can print envelopes, and doesn't need moEnvelopes any more

moEnvelopes uses the groups from AddressBook as mailing lists, just like Apple's Mail uses them for e-mail mailing lists. The first step ist therefore to create a group in AddressBook and to add people (or other groups) to it. Now start moEnvelopes. Choose the group and the desired envelope style from the popups at the top of the window. You can review the resulting output in the areas below. When you are satisfied, choose "Print?" from the File menu to print the envelopes.

Designing your own Envelopes
You can create your own envelope styles, if you like. For example, you might want to change the fonts, or print some nice graphics on your envelopes. Or you might want to use a special paper size. See the separate document "Designing your own Envelopes" for details.

Does what it says it does, is fully customizable, fills a need, and is free. Danexxxxx, I didn't try, but would would imagine you could override the address by customizing envelope.

think I've found the reason for the crashes which some people reported: this happens if you don't have any groups in your AddressBook. So you can easily work around until I fix this, just create at least one group! Sorry about the inconvenience. MacAdict4Life: Snail Mail prints one envelope at a time. moEnvelope prints an entire batch of envelopes from an AddressBook group
