Product Description:

HyperSpell is a handy menu bar utility that lets you quickly check the spelling of any word from any application. Simply copy some text that you want to check and click on HyperSpell's icon in the menu bar and HyperSpell will bring up a popup menu with a list of corrections for every word that is misspelled. When your are done with your corrections, HyperSpell will copy the corrected text into the clipboard so that you can paste it into whatever application you were working on.

Looks like the developer is gone too as the web site is no longer available. Kuwan.net is dead so I guess the product is too. Too bad, it was helpful for apps that did not have any spell checking capability.

Broken as of 4/07 Security Update - Version: 1.3.1, 4/23/2007 10:15AM PST

Registration fails once the OS X 10.4 security patch is installed. Product asks for registration info following patch installation but fails to register when entering information. Needs to be updated to a Universal version as well.

G4 QS 867 running 10.2.8. I have tried both v1.2 and 1.3b1 and in both, when it looks through a paragraph of text imported from the clipboard, it ONLY identifies the first misspelled word and ignores all the rest. I have purposely misspelled a bunch of words and it only flags the first one. If I double click on a mispelled word that it had not flagged, it then underlines it in red, and right clicking offers correction suggestions, but what is the point if it does not flag all the misspelled words automatically?

It seems like a really cool program, but...
