It would be great if this could convert Safari's custom feed: URLs into the appropriate format for other browsers. In Firefox, for example, if it could turn them into Live Bookmarks that would be great (or at least replace the feed: with http:)

Documentation is poor. Tried to get Camino bookmarks into Safari and all it did was erase the existing Safari bookmarks and leave a blank slate. Pissed me off. Fortunately I found a work around that saved the day.

On launch, this REALbasic app displays an error dialog box stating "Chimera cannot be found" (IIRC, Chimera was Camino's [very] old name). The problem is that neither the main window or the dialog box can be selected and it is not possible to click "OK".
The reason for this appears to be that there is another error dialog box BEHIND the afore-mentioned one, which is visible on Quit (the only action that can be done with this program) only for a split second. This is an unhandled NilObjectException in REALbasic.
In short, shoddy programming. Useless app in it's current incarnation. Cannot be recommended.

I'm sure this application worked great awhile ago, but it needs to be updated; Camino apparently stores bookmarks in .xml format instead of the .plist format it had been storing them in. This application imports the older .plist file, instead of the .xml file. This means that the bookmarks imported by this app are outdated, which can result in an incomplete import into Safari.

I was getting the error "error parsing chimera bookmarks!" others mentioned. Found launching app from desktop fixed this problem and app worked fine.
