For anyone who has used any other illustration program for a significant about of time, EazyDraw takes a little bit of "unlearning" or "relearning" in order to get the hang of things. From the perspective of anyone experienced with vector drawing programs, EazyDraw isn't exactly "easy". On the contrary, If seems as Instead of offering a well-rounded array of tools, each with adjustable properties, EazyDraw offers a different tool for each significant option, which at times is somewhat confusing, feels a bit constrained and slows down workflow. The way the commands, items, etc are arranged in the menubar are a bit counter-intuitive at first, but it is possible to get used them after a few uses.
On the up side, EazyDraw exhibits an exceptional amount of powerful capabilities which seem like the product of a tight-knit group of highly skilled programmers. The down side is that the program feels like the development process was lacking the input of talented experience design (usability).

EazyDraw 3 is an exceptionally powerful program. It has a complex interface unlike any other drawing program. Its tools will appear familiar, yet are actually more flexible than most. The power and diversity of this program for graphical development on the mac is really exceptional. It requires an adjustment in the way you approach your drawing because the interface is rather atypical. This latter issue is my biggest problem when working with the app. The developer has added exceptional features that you find months after you have been working with the app.
The app has to become a big player in the mac graphic community. To do that I encourage each user to discuss interface and usability improvements with the developer. Such a developer is clearly very talented and will need feedback to provide the app we all want.
To conclude I recommend this app to all mac users either for quick and dirty drawings, or highly involved multilayered sophisticated renditions.
My star rating at 4 is due to the fact that usability can be improved, but in terms of functionality this is a 5 star app
