Product Description:

MetronomeX is a fun, free metronome program for MacOS X.

What's new in this version:

Fixed several bugs, including a crashing bug when shutting down after setting a new sound via the preferences.
Made the Timer live in its own object and thread, and generally made the timing much more accurate.
Added several features to make it nicer to use the application and make sure the timer continues to be responsive even while changing the timing with the UI.
Added lots of documentation and some general cleanup in the code.
Thanks to everyone who sent in bug reports and suggestions!

On 10.3.6 at least, this app. doesn't actually give an accurate beat.

I think a good addition to this would be a way to set the flasher as big as you want. A good visual studio metronome would be awesome - this is what set me looking in the first place. Maybe make it a flat color, which the user could select. Otherwise, good start!

default sound. Sounds like the real thing :) But I don't see any advantage usingthis over metrognome which has many more features... Good start nonetheless :)
