I've used CiphSafe everyday for years now and I'm very satified with it. I've never had it crash and never lost any data, which to me, in an app like this is the most important thing. It's fast, simple and a breeze to use.
I haven't tried the beta/Intel version yet but I'm looking forward to it... However, I'll probably wait until it's out of beta.

I've used this app for a long time, and today went searching for an Intel native version. There is actually a beta of v1.3, which is Intel-native. You can get it from http://ciphsafe.sourceforge.net/.
I've used this beta for about an hour and it seems great; much, much faster in operation on Intel than the old v1.2.1.

I am trusting that it uses OpenSSL in a secure way. It would be great if a third party can comment on the implementation of the security.
