It's a simple, FREE app that seems to do exactly as advertised. I wanted something to empty the favicon cache in Safari, and it did it perfectly. Great FREE app. Thanks to the developer!
Keeping the balance :)

Just adding a few stars here since I don't believe beta apps (0.7.2) shouldn't be so harshly judged. Apart from that, I would give it a 3.5 star rating (since it is only a 0.x version).
It works, but the app has its limits.

Not with v. 1.0, v85, the current version of Safari. Select all does nothing. There's no delete or clear. command-click or shift-click does nothing. No help. No readme. No good. Correction, I suppose it may be of interest if you like to scroll through a list of all the URLs you've visited. Think I'll go back to just manually trashing the folder. Dumb idea for websites anyway. Dumb idea for Safari. Who dreamed up this wonderful innovation to pound my hard drives with a bunch of little trouble maker files? Tried it with Safari running and not running. Beats me what the problem is. I must have a hundred of those stupid little icons. (My apologies to those who like them.) Only wasted three minutes figuring all this out so two stars instead of one. ;)

does not work with Safari v73. I am getting a "cache empty" message when starting it - I will be looking into it and hopefully will fix it soon.

After some simple testing, it appears that Safari Icon Manager is compatible with Safari v60. Just thought I'd let everyone know...
"Safari Icon Manager is not currently compatible with the Safari 3.0 beta. The icon cache has been entirely redesigned in Safari 3.0, so I need some time to get Safari Icon Manager working with the new format."
That's too bad. This looks like a great little tool.
