This does not work for me. I only get an error message. (OS 10.4.11)
Apparently "the script doesn't understand the event sysobeep message", whatever that is.

I guess after almost 6 years this one needs an update.

Force Empty Trash ReviewSimply, the best - Version: 1.0, 12/1/2006 11:26AM PST

I have used every standard approach to empty my trash. Secure would not handle most of it and whenever I booted up, the trash would refill itself !!

Then the full trash (almost 4,000 files) started to generate Start Up Disk full warnings, a whole separate list of problems.

I downloaded Force Empty Trash, and clicked on the Icon, expecting it to open for install. It didn't work, so I opened my trash -- and it was empty. Too sweet.
