One thing that bugs me is that it only reads mono-files. You should at least be able to load and convert stereofiles.

This one is a vocoder - it has nothing to do with Autotune and works completely different.

(Antares, I believe, still has the copyright on the technology.) It was originally for correcting pitch problems, but with some more extreme settings it pops from one pitch to another instantly. Kid Rock's used it too, and Daft Punk, and just about everyone else. I'm not sure if you could do autotuning-like effects with a vocoder, though, but you can do just about anything else.
