Product Description:

the original jNotes provided a window you could type in. jNotes now also supports multiple notes. the method of switching between notes puts tabs to shame. you can re-arange your notes, add dividers, custom icons, or no icons, and even choose which notes shouldn't be displayed. Since jNotes is a Cocoa app, it also features things like styled text, spell checker, embeded images and movies, paragraph styles etc.

jNotes also handles saving and all that, so you've got nothing to worry about.

What's new in this version:

  • Active note is now highlighted in the toolbar.
  • Scrollbar is now hidden when it's not needed.
  • Added basic Find/Replace.
  • Added paste with current style.
  • A few other minor changes.
  • Fixed a major design flaws that caused slow preformance when editing large-ish notes.

Operating System Requirements:

This product is designed to run on the following operating systems:

  • Mac OS X 10.3
  • Mac OS X 10.2

Additional Requirements:

  • Mac OS X 10.2 or higher

jNotes ReviewLean, mean and more than a note app.! - Version: 1.2, 9/10/2004 02:08AM PST

Clytie
JNotes is always there when you need it, and never when you don't. It records, it saves automatically, it displays style and URLs and images, and it TABS. I can't believe that so many apps. still don't tab! JNotes saves me so many windows all over the place, and I only have to back up that one folder in /Library/Application Support.

It beats all the sticky apps hands down, and it's the quickest full-featured app. I've seen.

I can't imagine being without it, now. You will feel the same. :)

jNotes ReviewWonderful App! - Version: 1.2, 8/26/2004 06:42AM PST

I've been using this for a long time now and it only gets better. I can't live without it anymore, it's such a great idea, it just makes sense.

My only request would be to make it easier to browse existing notes, because when they don't fit in the toolbar it's a pain to click on the arrow to expand the selection and then finding the one you want. Since this app is about finding and doing things quickly, I'd go for another solution like a drawer for instance.

Thanks for writing a great app!

jNotes ReviewjNotes needs to get their story straight, is it 10.2 or 10.3?? - Version: 1.2, 6/2/2004 09:50PM PST

The the dev's site says it for 10.3! What a shame, since only 13% of Mac owners have switched to 10.3 . . . . . very short sighted Mr. Developer!
