Product Description:

A simple cocoa application that removes .DS_Store files from a directory and its children when dropped on its finder/dock icon. This is a simple program, and is only offered here for people who refuse to use something like "find . -name '.DS_Store' -exec rm -rf {} \; -print" from the terminal as a light weight free alternative. Please note making changes to the directory will cause the .DS_Store files to reappear.

Stays open when not launched by a file drop from finder.

this to clean a folder before I burn Mp3 CD's, so standalone DVD players don't show these files in there browser menu's.

do you need a UI when you can just drag-drop the directory you want to clean on the application icon? Progress UI? cleaning takes less than a second! Only usefull GUI thing I could think of is a floating window where you can drop folders, but I can do just fine without it. Main thing missing is a nice icon, but I'm sure I can find a nice one myself and past it on the app. :) Thank you for this little usefull tool.
