  • Security fixes for the iPhone web interface plugin.
  • Adds experimental Jabber (XMPP) support. Basic group chat and private chat works. #454
  • Add support for auto-join and bricks in ICB. Code submitted by Julio M. Merino Vidal.
  • Cocoa plugin changes to better support the FiSHy Blowfish plugin. Code submitted by Henning Kiel. #1020
  • Fixes some big memory leaks.
  • Fixes the highlight marks being off once the scrollback limit is reached.

  • Fixes nicknames in messages that are highlighted, mainly noticeable in the Fiat style.
  • Fixes to work better with Leopard.
  • Fixes where changing the limit and password on a room mode wouldn't display in the chat room, even though the change was made. #1034
  • Adds a new column for ban author to the Chat Room Inspector. #608
  • Allows the topic to show more lines if the window is smaller. New limit of 6 lines. #533

  • Prevents the chat view from scrolling and showing a transparent area. #1059

  • Treat * as a prefix for room founder, not room administrator. #772
  • Fixes a CPU hogging issue when using JavaScript plugins.
  • Now whenever someone mentions you or a highlight word, the full message is displayed in the Growl notification. #490

Colloquy really looks like an OS X application, but I am a bit confused by the interface. When notices come up they appear outside the application - as bubbles at the side of the screen - and the text in them (which is usually truncated) is not selectable. When you click on a bubble it closes, and the notices below it do not move up, so you wind up with an unknown number of bubbles that have opened below the screen's bottom edge.

I will have to look at the ReadMe (shock! horror!) to see if there's a way to have those appear in the main window or in a secondary window so I can copy & paste their texts as my ad-hoc typing is atrocious.
