Not so good...

I registered this software a while back to help catch & remove duplicate loops in my Garage Band loops folder. This program, however, made it utterly difficult to do so, as I had to then manually delete each file (while being sure not to delete the duplicate). This program is NOT good for finding multple duplicates and removing them...

Thanks for your help. I had already made you give me several keys before it finally worked, and I'm not sure if I hadn't been clicking on the name field or if it were actually a bad key. Either way, it's working now - thanks!
In V1.2 and above the mechanism for selecting duplicates once found is greatly improved (partly due to feedback you sent us in January). The app can be made to quickly select files for deletion based on their size or modification date, always leaving one behind.
To see what I mean....
--Download the new version
--Find some duplicates
--Select All in the Groups list (all of the duplicate files in those groups will now appear in the Files list)
--Click on the Files list
--Choose Edit->Select->Oldest (Shift-Apple-O; This will select the least recently modified file in each group)
--Choose Edit->Invert Selection (Shift-Apple-I; This will result in all but the oldest file in each group being selected)
--Click "Move To Trash", and your done.
This will delete all recent copies & leave you with the original file in each group.
As for the other requests you made, the parent folder is now included in the standard files view & sorting is on the way.
