What's new in this version:
- Added Beautiful GLSL shaders that utilize normal and bump mapping, soft selfshadowing, glossiness maps (for ATI and Radeon cards) and many more shader-specific effects.
- Added compatibility with Intel based macintoshes and specifically for the new MacBooks with Intel cards.
- Added Aqua configuration tool instead of console-based configurator
- Updated Physics to support thousands of AI ships to make the universe feel populated and 'alive'
- Improved missions and campaigns.

This has come a LONG way since the last release. the stations are very nice - reminds me a bit of the old x-wing and freespace interfaces. It's a bit complex, but that's a good thing. I definitely recommend people try this - and it's free!

Um... This project is hosted via sourceforge, and the mirror I chose is going around 200k a second right now. Sure it's not your connection? There are plenty of mirrors to choose from.
